Pick a neighborhood that fits the trip.

The 7-km stretch that Forbes once called one of the world’s best beaches. Wide sand, gentle waves March–September, a flat oceanfront road perfect for sunrise walks, and a wall of mid-range and luxury hotels behind it. If it’s your first trip and you want “just put me near the water,” stay here.

A grid of small streets two blocks from the south end of Mỹ Khê. Coworkings, brunch spots, yoga studios, craft beer, and the highest density of long-stay apartments in the city. Quieter than Mỹ Khê proper, walkable to the beach in 5 minutes, and where most of our team lives.

The river side. Markets, old shophouses, the Dragon Bridge, museums and the best street food in the city per square meter. Less beach-y, more “real Vietnamese city.” Stay here if it’s your second trip or you came for the food.

A fishing village at the north end of the beach, just before Sơn Trà peninsula. Family-run guesthouses, basket boats at dawn, and 1/10th the foot traffic of Mỹ Khê. Quiet at night. Bring a scooter — restaurants close early.

The peninsula. Jungle on one side, ocean on the other, monkeys everywhere. A handful of high-end resorts (InterContinental, Naman) and very little else. Stay here for a honeymoon or a quiet retreat — not for walking out for dinner.

The south beach road toward Hội An — Non Nước and Marble Mountain district. Newer mega-resorts (TIA Wellness, Sheraton Grand) with private beach access. 25 minutes to downtown Đà Nẵng, 20 minutes to Hội An old town. Best of both worlds if you have a car.
